Re: 3D plug-in?

Also look into nvidia's solution... And video files cannot be turned into 3d (without more time than you have to commit). You need a realtime mesh (known vertex coords) to render two versions of a single scene, each render pass has the camera position adjusted to compensate for the human eyes being ...

windows integration with other applications

YES! integration with VVVV exists and I think everyone should know.... its a free tool called VHScapture. its a directx filter that acts as a virtual capture device and can attach itself to any window and pipe video from vvvv render output to resolume 3 nicely with multiple windows overlaying render...

video routing

this may be way down the line... but a way to route video into busses or send/recieve like channels would be nice. For example, when sending out to a tripleHead2go - you could put a "keystone (w/ or w/o crop)" onto each projector allowing to align each projectors throw to the next projecto...

Re: Text-to-Screen with an RSS Feed?

use vvvv. get video from vvvv by hiding window frame (ctrl+8) and using VHSrcCap (a free dxfilter that shows up as a source). It might take some time for you to find the right settings (like scaling video to output, not capturing overlaying windows...) This settup is changing my world..

Re: multiple projectors & switchers

If you have remotes for the projectors, most have a sleep function... that would be easiest and cheapest. do you have a budget that allows you to rent something? A kramer fade to black switch comes to mind, don't know if they can switch 2 different outputs though. Might need a matrix switcher that o...

Re: Multiple Screen not work!!!! HELP

take the 8500 out of the machine as having that card in will slow the clocks of your faster card.. Sending the same texture across different video cards often causes problems (in some games at least). get a triplehead2go for the three screen output. Scale each layer to the size of each screen/projec...

Re: NanoKey and NanoKontrol work together?

What about NanoKontrol and one more NanoKontrol work together? Is it possible? as long as you have set the controllers up to send different messages (you don't want both kontrols sending CC23 over channel 1 or they would both affect the same parameter) there is an application from Korg that allows ...

Re: Tom's Hardware Benchmarks & resolume

I look at 3dmark06 and crysis tests because I know what to compare it too as I have been using 3dmark06 for years. Also Crysis is a graphics intense game that only high end gaming rigs can handle (crysis is not "playable" on a macbook pro - maybe lowest settings) so the FPS at high or medi...

ATI Mobilty Radon HD 4650

I know Resolume added some nVidia specific "features". I am looking into buying a new PC and keep seeing the ATI mobility radeon HD4650 in a lot of machines. the 3Dmark scores for this card are pretty nice considering the price (it outperforms a nVidia 240m GT). Will I miss out on anything...
