That is the output resolution.
As far as monitoring, there are three outputs, vga,composite, s-video
You can use all simultaneously.
e.g. -Composite to dvr and vga to external monitor.

The Kramer tools hardware is overkill for this purpose.It also has no composite out. So then you would need to buy an additional piece of hardware. Does he need signal amplification? ............... For shapes other than squares you need to use bezier edit points/point mode, right click the mask and select "Make circle" at the bottom of context menu.

-the jagged edges, i think you are sitting too close. ;)

You might try the "stop motion" and "trails" effects to emulate the last two effects. Video looper is a good idea. As for Vuo....... Vuo comps are supposed to be exportable as a plugin.... per the manual... Yet it states on their road map that -deploy compositions as FFGL plugin-...

Should be pretty easy. I believe you are getting off track by trying to "select multiple clips" Remember with midi we can map the same button/note/knob/key to as many different parameters as needed, and control them all at once. Try this for a test: load 3 clips you want to trigger/cue on ...
