SMPTE and Using Audio FFT

I am working with a variety of visual tracks that sync to audio tracks. I have them all lined up nicely using a master SMPTE source (A little digital Recorder). However, I would like to be able to modulate effect parameters based on audio. I discovered that Resolume will not allow a quicktime to syn...

Re: Avenue 4 MIDI Output

Bome's is great! Using the midi map from Behringer and Bome's, it is actually quite straight forward to get your buttons to toggle to any of the colors available. You can use very simple conditional statements to translate resolume's return velocity to whatever you would like to send back to the con...

Re: CMD LC-1 global brightness

Behringer tech support helped with this. Pressing the bottome 4 buttons of any of their controllers will toggle between dim and bright.

CMD LC-1 global brightness

I am in the process of putting together a little patch to provide the CMD LC-1 with some feedback to trigger the various color LEDs using Bome's Midi Translator. So far so good - it involves taking the midi velocity that resolume outputs (127 for active, 0 for inactive) and mapping that to the veloc...

Re: Avenue 4 MIDI Output

Just doing some digging and I found Bome's Midi Translator - http://www.bome.com/products/miditranslator it would appear that one could take the resolume midi out and combine it with some conditional statements in the midi translator to send out various velocities to the control surface to light up ...

Re: Avenue 4 MIDI Output

Hello, I have a Behringer LC-1 controller that I would very much like to use with Resolume. It has 4 banks of 8 buttons, 8 rotary encoders and mute/solo/select buttons all of which can display different colors. I would love it if it would be possible to simply tie the colors of the keys to the deck ...

Re: Post your mapping videos

Hi Jerry,

Nice work - very lovely. Are you animating on geometry in cinema 4d or AE and then projecting this on to a matching physical model?

Re: Mapping multiple surface configurations.

Just digging through the forum and playing with the advanced output settings. I found this article: http://resolume.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=10567 It seems the way to map to multiple projection surface configurations with Resolume's Advanced Output settings would be to have a series of unique Advan...

Mapping multiple surface configurations.

Hello All, I am new to Resolume having come from VDMX (and did the big switch to windows!). I am very excited about it. Resolume looks rock solid and professional. I have a few respected colleges that swear by it! I am currently working on projections for a choreographed piece that will have a serie...
