Re: video stream problem

Hey guys I'm 99% sure (never say 100% ;) )Flash is not responsible for this problem. It's actually a difference between how fast Resolume renders and how fast your monitor can display this. Basically what happens is that Resolume calculates what the image should look like, and sends this information...

Re: No Audio Playback

Hi Ultraloveninja Resolume 3 should be compatible with Vista 64 bit. You don't give a lot of information about the clips you're using, and usually this problem is codec related. If the clips that come with the demo play audio, you could try converting your audio to 44.1 KhZ linear PCM format, which ...

Re: video stream problem

I think this is the first time that anyone has asked if Resolume could render slower ;)

We'll look into it, and will get back to you on this.

Re: display background

Hi Hernan When you connect your MBP via DVI or DisplayPort and mirroring is turned off, it will show your extended desktop wallpaper on the other monitor/projector. This can be different from your 'regular' wallpaper. You can choose a different picture as your background in the usual place in System...

Re: video stream problem

Hi Godzil Thanks for including the logfile! It looks like Avenue has some problems with loading the Flash file you're using. It's nothing dramatic, but you might want to look into making it ActionScript 3 compatible. I don't think that would solve the issue you're having though. This looks like it h...

Re: Need help? Meet Joris.

@ willcopps: I've been in Bart and Edwin's face for quite some time about QC integration in Resolume. Expect some fireworks in the no too distant future. ;)

@ bart: lol :D 'Great Scott!'

Re: Need help? Meet Joris.

Hiya folks! After such a great introduction there's not much more I need to say... Apparently the Resolume team was in dire need of some facial hair, and so they asked me to come to the rescue. I hope my beard can live up to the task... ;) You can often catch me exploring strange new worlds on the g...

Re: setting up new user account for R3

Hey Beanspiral Setting up a new user account is a bit of a tricky one, but shouldn't be too hard. First of all, Resolume Avenue is installed in the Applications folder of your computer. It is accessible by all users of that computer on the same license. So no problems there. 'Old' compositions and s...

Re: Quartz Composer Integration

Would there be any way to use QC functionality in Windows within an FFGL wrapper Well... Yes and no. No because Quartz Composer is largely dependent on proprietary Apple technologies like Core Image and the overall Quartz framework. But yes because those technologies are in turn dependent on the GP...

Re: Audio info to Flash?

Hey Void With the arrival of Avenue, it's no longer needed to get audio information via Flash. Any parameter can now be controlled by audio-FFT from within Resolume. Simply select 'Audio-FFT-> external' from the drop down arrow next to the parameter. You may need need to set your audio preferences t...
