Re: Clean/ non ridged masks??

The jagged edges you're seeing are referred to as "aliasing." Many graphics programs have an anti-aliasing filter, but Resolume does not because it would be a huge performance hit (low frame rate).

Photoshop is by far the cleanest way to do masking if you have the time.

Re: Live Feed Resolution

Yes that will input fine. Then you can manually set whatever resolution you want in the Clip parameters for the live feed source clip.

Re: Map Easing Params

I see what you mean. The parameters need to be tucked away in the pop-up to avoid overcrowding the interface and the pop-up must disappear when there is a mouse or key click.

What about OSC?

BPM Math

What math is used to determine a clip's default beat length when switching from Timeline to BPM Sync transport mode?

Map Easing Params

Low priority request. Is it possible to map easing parameters? How hard would that be to implement?

In most cases I'd rather preset those anyways but it could be handy to have them on a knob.

Re: Strobe Fade incorrectly maps to MIDI

Ok it works on a different computer. I had copied my user Documents > Resolume Arena 4 > Presets > VFX folder to the problem machine, completely overwriting the destination. Could that be the problem? The source folder structure with all my presets was also from 4.1.8 so I'm not sure why there would...

Re: The 2013 Mac Pro

Thanks lotech. I recently tried out a Mac Pro so I'll add a couple things. If you're a VJ running 3-5 layers of 1080p content and typically have 1 or 2 1080p outputs (plus monitor), pretty much all configs of the new Mac Pro will be fine for you. As far as graphics power it's definitely better than ...

Strobe Fade incorrectly maps to MIDI

I'm trying to map the Fade toggle on the Strobe effect to a button on my midi controller. It looks like it is mapped correctly in mapping mode, but after I hit "Stop" and try to toggle it, the Hue parameter ends up changing instead. Edit: This is Application MIDI Map - Deck mode. Arena 4.1...
