Re: Trying to build PC tower for AV events

Yeah it's doable. Use a Decklink Duo or Quad for the Cameras and Datapath VisionSD4+1S Capture Card for the laptops. You want to capture Displayport/DVI/HDMI off the laptops and not VGA. Motherboard = ASUS or Gigabyte CPU = Intel i7 Ram = 8 gb (Resolume is a 32 bit application so there's no point in...

Re: iPad 2 Screen Capture in Resolume using a Blackmagic Shu

It should work just fine, HDCP would only prevent you from playing iTunes Store movies and TV shows. Did you download Desktop Video 9.9.2 for Macintosh from Blackmagic? Have you tried capturing anything else with your Intensity?

Re: Blackmagic capture cards

What source are you capturing? HDMI? What resolution?

I have a computer with Decklink Quad, I capture off HD-SDI cameras into Resolume and I don't notice any choppiness, Resolume stays at a smooth 60 fps. The setup is as follows:

Core i7 3770k
GTX 770
1 SSD drive

Re: Haswell

Everybody I know here in Vegas that plays music and does video at the same time (That 1 Guy, Kid Meets Cougar) runs Resolume on a separate computer from their audio computer. I've never heard of anybody having problems with running Ableton & Resolume on the same laptop, other than one person I k...

Re: Analog Live Video Signal

How much of a frame delay difference is there between the DC60+ and a Blackmagic Intensity anyway? Does the DC60+ have as much delay as a Webcam or is there less delay?

Re: Analog Live Video Signal

You want a capture card like a Blackmagic Intensity or the Matrox MX02. I've gotten the MX02 working on Resolume on Windows but there is a few frames of delay, I think there's definitely a less delay with the Intensity. What do you need an S-Video input for? Do you have something like an LZX video s...

Re: QC FX workaround

I wanna use this method to do v002 and bangnoise plugins but absolutely cannot have the program crash. I don't have a Mac computer with me to really thoroughly test it out right now. Does anybody know if this is stable while switching decks? Reason I ask is because I when I was using OS X Mountain L...

Really nice installation overall, the "We are fucked" part was a nice touch.
