Re: Resolume & native SDI output

We figured out the freezing, which was a separate system all together, however, not sure what would be choking this systems bandwidth? We have PCIe bandwidth configured correctly, with GPU being in a 16x slot, and BM Duo in a 8x slot, despite it needing 4x. Thanks for all the help trouble shooting. ...

Re: Resolume & native SDI output

I wanted to circle back on this. We've been running Resolume 5.1.3 and using BlackMagic drivers 10.8.5 (most up to date on both), we notice that when we enabled native SDI outputs in Resolume, we get a pretty decent FPS drop. Resolume, with nVidia VSync on, we get a solid 59.94-60 FPS. When we start...

Re: Playback jumps/stutters at random intervals.

Thanks Oaktown. I can confirm that it and the M.2 are running at full bandwidth as we've check all system settings before. I'm going to research more on how to strip every Windows background task out of the way. Are there any pointers, direction, on doing a completely clean slate install of Windows?...

Re: Playback jumps/stutters at random intervals.

Great info to know. As far as bandwidth, the GPU is in a 16x PCIe, along with the Samsung 960 Pro M.2 being in the Mobo's M.2 slot. I'll look into any other background processes that I might not be aware of and try to squash them as much as possible. We've stripped the OS down as much as possible, b...

Re: Resolume & native SDI output

I did a test in December in my office... using a BlackMagic Duo 2 card, we clocked the latency of SDI in to SDI out at 3 frames of delay. For me, that's completely in range and tolerable.

Playback jumps/stutters at random intervals.

Hey everyone - Been running tests on our Resolume machines. From time to time, the content will be playing and then just "jump" or stutter. What I mean is that video playback will jump a skip a frame or two randomly, or it will stutter in it's playback performance. It's pretty random when ...

Re: Arena Crash out of nothing

I too have seen this same behavior. I'm trying to understand what is causing it. We've been letting our servers run on loop with different settings, including fan speeds at maximum, and Resolume will either freeze, crash unexpectedly, stop working unexpectedly, or the system will reboot. Our test sy...
