Re: Overlay instead of restart for VJ Touch Pad

Is there a way to have a single clip make use of the free layer? It works with different clips on the same row - which is fantastic and more then useful - but a single clip can only repeat? Am I wrong?

Either way - very exciting.

Overlay instead of restart for VJ Touch Pad

Hey, I'm trying to create a sort of VJ drum machine using an APC40. I've been making a series of short and simple geometric animations in After Effects (for instance, a circle quickly grows and fades over 2 seconds). Using my APC, I'm assigning these animations to the grid of pads so I can manually ...

Looking for Building Projection Animation Tutorials

Please correct me if this is the wrong section of the forum for this, as it is not completely Resolume related however I intend on using Resolume to do the final mapping. I've been searching for tutorials and information about the techniques used in animation of large scale building projection mappi...

Re: Assessment of new PC build

Thank you for your reply ! Some interesting points - I have a few questions: The graphics card was chosen because of it's 3 Display Port outputs, something that can apparently limit selection in PC component parts. I did read that thread about the AMD issues.. but it's an ASUS card, not AMD? Am I mi...

Assessment of new PC build

What do you think of this build? I've been to some consultations with a PC shop where I live and we're trying to assemble the most powerful possible multimedia PC within my 3k-4k budget. A typical set up for me runs 2 - 3 projectors via triplehead2go; and I'd ideally like to have all my content in H...

Re: Outputting video to LED strips

Thank you for this extremely useful and detailed response ! One thing I wanted to clarify - the actual LED strips are powered on their end of the spectrum (the stage) via the Plink injector (which is plugged into an AC outlet with a 5V adaptor in my case)? The same Plink injector gets the receiving ...

Re: Can you feather the edges of a video clip?

I've created an image in photo shop with a few variations of gradients - circular, bars, etc. I load this image into a layer; and use the input selection to choose what gradient I need (perhaps a few circular gradients positioned around the dress in your situation). Then I map them into my setup.

Outputting video to LED strips

Hey all, I am really excited at the possibilities of outputting content from Resolume into LED strips but I am unsure of what hardware I need to purchase to make it happen, and what the "schematic" of the setup might look like. If I was to purchase some generic strips of fairly inexpensive...

Re: Warp w/ 360 Projection in R5

I've blended all my slices with the soft edge. My problem was that in Resolume 4, there used to be a function called "warp" with a check box. I've found that I can just expand my input selection beyond the video on their side and it will cross over to the opposite side (for 360 projections...
