Make sure you get a version with a AMD (or Nvidia is older) GPU in it. The Intel GPU will not perform well. SSD's are always a plus. I have a 2012 MBP that still runs Arean like a champ (4 layers). This one shouldn't be any different.

How many layers and FX are you running? What is your resolution and how many connected devices are you outputting to?

Nope. This is Only a feature with the Quadro line. One of the many reason's those cards cost twice as much as your typical gamer card.

Depending on your hardware, yes, you can do this. Resolume can only output a single stereo output (L&R) so you will need to do internal panning and mixing. If you plan on playing very long video clips, I would suggest using SMPTE to keep them in sync, otherwise I would render out 1 massive video...

You have to do this on the hardware, not in Resolume. There should be documentation in their manuals on how to do this. If certain control's won't allow for it, you may have to change it on the other controller that will allow for it.

You can bring in the audio source into a clip (has to be a wav file) and then set your parameters animations to composition fft. then when you record, it should show up.
