Recording is improved a lot in v7, why not just give it a try to see what your hardware can do?

You'd need pretty beefy hardware.
Resolume composition FPS falls to 20 with a 1080Ti, 2x 8k layers playing on a Threadripper 1920x.
With a 4k composition, 6 layers, composition FPS is still at 60 recording.

You'd get lot better results using a 8k output and a capture card with a different machine.

I guess you have parameters animated on the Wave warp. If you're using the same preset, then the animations should be in sync when the clips are launched at the same time. It seems in R7 the wave warp doesn't advance if the layer opacity is 0 Hmm, works for me... Which 7.x.x. version are you using? ...

Could be because the Intel HD4400 doesn't meet the minimum specs

The test card overrides textures so this could be a special case with the card only.

I'd probably set my clips and composition to beat snapping to none. That should launch clips instantly.
1 beat snapping could be also a nice help.
