Re: Multiple live inputs, which possibilities?

Thanks again for the info, guys. After more searching and reading, apparently the "Intensity Shuttle for Thunderbolt" way wouldn't work because Thunderbolt (at the moment) doesn't allow simultaneous use of the input and output. Soooooo, is this only a thunderbolt problem? If I would use a ...

Re: Multiple live inputs, which possibilities?

Hmm, now that's a bummer. But anyway thank you guys for replying! So since a Mac Pro is not an option price wise, I can guess I can forget mixing 2 camera's in Resolume. Maybe I should limit myself to only 1 full HD stream in. I was wondering if the Blackmagic cards (i.e. Intensity Shuttle for Thund...

Multiple live inputs, which possibilities?

Hi! We are trying to put a system together so we can ditch the edirol V8 mixer and work solely on the laptop. The system would be used mainly for presentations. What we would like to do is have 2 or 4 live inputs (Sony ex-1 or alike) going into Resolume on a Macbook Pro, mix everything and send out ...

Re: Any bugs On brand new Mac Book PROS?

The old Macbook Pro's are still on sale (at least in Belgium) and they are significantly cheaper than they used to be. Don't forget that these are still very powerfull machines. Also since the 17" hasn't been renewed, but has been upgraded to standard 4gigs ram, you might check out if they upda...

Re: Any news on mac models that don't work yet?

B.t.w, are you guys able to open the Preferences window or the Composition Settings window? If you mean the settings under the Composition menu and the preferences under the View menu, no I can't open them. Nor can I open the settings from within the "Composition Properties" part of the s...

Re: Any news on mac models that don't work yet?

Dag Edwin! Thank you very much for your reply! I have two mayor problems: 1. I can click on the menu's, but cannot open any of the submenu's at the top of the screen. For example: I can click on "composition", but then nothing happens when I try to open/save/change beat snap/preferences......

Any news on mac models that don't work yet?

Hi Bart and Edwin, could you let us know what the plans are concerning the mac's that currently don't seem to support R3? We have 3 macs (1 Powerbook G4 1,67Ghz, 1 Powermac G5 dual 2,3Ghz and 1 iMac 2,16Ghz intel core2duo), all running macosx 10.4.11. So far, only the intel mac can run R3. As we bou...

Re: Menu items on Mac OS X 10.5.5 not working?

I have the exact same problem too and had it posted allready on the forum (not working on G5 and crashing). I work on a PPC G5 with 10.4.11. My girlfriend however has an imac intel and she has no problems running R3. It seems more and more likely that only the PPC platform has problems. However I'm ...

Re: Not working on PPC G5 and crashing

Is there somebody out there with the same setup as mine? G5 PPC dual 2,3 with macosx 10.4.11 Can you get the program to run normally or do you encounter the same problems as I do? Let me know... Greetz, NLS EDIT: I tried it on my girlfriends imac intel (10.4.11) and she has no problems. So I guess i...
