Re: New Resolume MIDI Controller with Video Buttons and Moni

Imagine if TouchOSC could accept thumbnails via CITP... that would be pretty cool.

I'd quite happily use my iPad just for triggering videos (with thumbnails), then use hardware for sliders, dials, x fader, etc.

I thought it might be.

Re: Resolume Arena goes slow after some time

I wonder if this is related to the Quicktime RAM leak I keep hearing about? Apparently the Quicktime X library isn't very efficient and leaks a bit of data which makes your RAM fill up; after a while it can make your computer become slower. The only way to stop it is to flush your RAM out by restart...

Re: Midi Clock sync to DJM mixer

I am a video DJ using Mix Emergency to play my videos. I would like to start using resolume in my DJ sets. I plan on syphon'ing the resolume video into ME. (anybody have a syphon quartz file to suck resolume's output?) You can get the Quartz file here: http://syphon.v002.info/ I want to use the gre...

Re: Museum Install

Thanks for the reply so quickly. That's great to know!

Do you have it all automated by any chance? As in autostart up/autofull screen/auto trigger clip 'N' etc? Or is it manually started each time?

Thanks

Museum Install

Hi, I have a feeling Resolume Arena might be a solution to my problem and I really need some feedback to make sure I am heading in the right direction. I am proobably going to be using 2x Ultra short throw projectors from vivitek: http://www.vivitek.co.uk/v_display_content_detail.asp?category_id=71&...

Re: Have to play huge file looking for recommandations

I've always assumed the length of the file is irrelevant. Its the codec that does the work. Having a decent amount of RAM and ideally playing it off a SSD or raptor drive is best though I would have thought.
