An old, known problem.
A quite disgusting one.

Bart or Edwin put it on the ToDo List, but that is some time ago (Resolume2 Beta 1). I guess it's still on the ToDo List or on a Not Realizable List.

oh, i just talked about 2)

concerning the audio analyzer i perfectly agree with you. the results of that one integrated in resolume are too blurry.

maybe the problem is, that resolumes audio analyzis works only as fast as the frame rate is. but it's just a guess of myself.

I 'm experiencing really big problems with more complicated Flash films in R2.1. Those movies using intense programming were running in R2.0 and they still do. In R2.1 those movies seem to run in the background, only their output is frozen. I see this when i reassign them to a layer repeatingly. Tha...

2) its a nice idea, but imho makes resolume too complicated. i think a tool that is meant for live use has to be clean and fast to use.

but maybe bart&edwin find a way to implement it in a very intuitive and less click intense way...

Transparence of flash movies

When i embbed flash movies within websites i can set the background to transparency, thus the website background shines through. That leds me to the thought, that flash-movies must have transparent backgrounds (if released right?!). I would like to use that in resolume! (I know that AlphaTransparenc...

still not really a problem.
when i make a demo, i have the sound separate. i could add (and delay) it in the "post production" if required.

Originally posted by bart no resolume can not output through firewire, outputing through firewire gives a smaal delay in the signal, and we do not want that for realtime video ... ok, but for recording this is be no problem (e.g. for producing demos, dvd's, recordings live-sets...) this would be no...

i'm looking for a solution of this issue since a long time. when i want to record the output of my comp as dv (via firewire) the only way is outputting as s-vhs, converting to dv with my camcorder than recording via firewire on a another comp or in the camcorder. but that's stupid, cause i'm convert...

And every flash player version crashes inside resolume after some hours.
Even if the flashfilm runs stable for hours outside resolume (in flash projector).
