Re: resolume as a controller?

No its not currently possible as resolume doesn't send any midi or osc information. I'd very much like to see a move in this direction, with information being sent out from resolume so that flying faders and light up controllers could be properly used to control resolume. Network based control of mu...

Re: Can playback stop on last frame?

yes I would like this as an option, along with fade out, and goto next clip in layer.. (oh so many requests!) For still on last frame i currently use a workaround that requires 2 resolume layers:- make jpegs from the last frame of each clip you want to freeze. Put these jpegs in a layer below the cl...

Re: HD and hopefully 4K resolutions...

got it working in XP32 was a bit of a pavarla but i've come to expect this when dealing with graphics cards! still needed to use compatibility mode in the GL settings - does anyone actually understand what that means? any hope that resolume will one day work in "multidisplay performance mode&qu...

Re: HD and hopefully 4K resolutions...

I'm on XP64 currently - i'm going to try XP32 today and am hopeful that we will see progress in the better drivers than XP32 has. I will try OmegaDrivers too as they have been helpful in the past. winchanger looks like a useful utility anyway - thanks for the link, though windowed mode is also not w...

Re: HD and hopefully 4K resolutions...

Its not a case of getting better performance - its a case of getting ANY performance! The advanced output settings do not work for me. Resolume fails to display video if the interface is on one GPU and the output is on another. changing the primary secondary settings makes no difference, changing th...

Re: HD and hopefully 4K resolutions...

Ok so the heat got to my head and i've gone out and got a SSD and a GTX260. (paying the stupid high prices in dubai out of my own pocket) now i'm really sad as i cannot get this working. what I want is the following... interface on DVI of my old graphics card (quadro FX1800) output spanning both DVI...

Re: HD and hopefully 4K resolutions...

Hmm well that's an interesting observation / suggestion. I'm even less convinced the DXV is a good idea now than I was before! Really if it demands a latest generation graphics card to work at HD resolutions then that is a pretty serious disadvantage (seeing as MJPEG HD decodes perfectly well on an ...

Re: HD and hopefully 4K resolutions...

Yes I know that DXV is decoded on the GPU. what I do not understand is why you believe that a "better" GPU would make any difference to my system's performance? Surely if my GPU wasn't fast enough to decode DXV then DXV wouldn't work at all? Anyway I will likely try an SSD next week to see...

Re: New m15x, but still LOW FPS!

what codec are your clips? make sure you have a good decompressor installed for your chosen codec - sounds like your running mjpeg on the built in windows decompressor to me.

Re: HD and hopefully 4K resolutions...

PC sadly though the prores comments are very interesting for when i get back from this dusty hell hole! PC is massively unoptimised repurposed CAD machine (HP Z400) it has just 3GB ram currently which i don't feel is enough - currently it is used for graphics prep and playout which again is not what...
