Try adjusting the audio buffer size to something higher.
If that doesn't help, try to record how the lag sounds and looks like exactly so we can better understand the issue.

If you're writing the app yourself, you could calculate the remaining time based on the incoming Transport position message values, and their timing.
It's floats, so once it would get to 1 with a clip playing forwards, the clip would reach it's end.

Try disabling all applications and services that start up automatically, and are not from Microsoft. If you do this one by one and try to start Resolume and select an output you should find what's causing it if it's an incompatibility with another app. Could be something new we didn't hear about yet...

Try setting the composition frame rate to 30FPS in the Composition - Settings.
