At one point in time, Adobe Bridge worked for previews.
I would use that or use Arena and Ctrl+click all the clips you want to organize and put them in a new Deck, then open a new comp and import that deck and do a collect all media to get all the files copied that way, then delete the originals.
If your LED controller has SDI, Then I would just go SDI.
If you are trying to build one seamless wall out of multiple LED processors, Then you might have some issues, but if you're just sending a bunch of screens out that are not apart of a single canvas, then you should be fine.

What is your output configuration suppose to be? How many of those outputs connect to the same seamless screen? (To understand if Tearing will be an issue for your setup or not).
