MIDI: snap controller value before change

is it possible to snap the current value of a parameter (when moving a midi knob) bevore actually changing it ? - so there is no abrupt transition. - especially when working with contextual midi mappings.

Jog/Shuttle (Contour / Command Post)

Hi! I'm just wondering if it's possible to use USB Jug/Shuttle controller in Resolume 3? I've found some posts, but not sure if it's possible? (maybe the keyboard mapping makes it possible?!) - If yes, I've to buy such a controller ;) older postings I've found: http://www.resolume.com/forum/viewtopi...

Re: can we have a clock please?

Hi, I'd like to put my two cents in it ;) On Windows it's possible to hide the task bar - or in case you desperately need every vertical pixel plus a clock just move the task bar to the left or right. However I think a clock at the bottom line (next to Resolume Avenue 3.0.0 Beta rev990 would be nice.

Re: bug: output monitor cannot be collapsed

Really? :( - Why not fixing this issue? On my notebook the preview monitor is very small compared to the output monitor because of my poor resolution max: 1280x800). Re: JOYSTICK as Midi Controller

hey Andthen,

Some time ago I used mjoy http://www.otk.it/mjoy/ (Windows) to convert joystick data to MIDI. I think Resolume has no native support for the game port.

BUG: H-scroll bar scrolls away

When I scroll up to the top layer (using the vertical scroll bar on the right), the horizontal scroll bar scrolls down. I think this should not be the case. :?

Edit: By the way, an h-scroll bar at the File dialog would be nice!

Re: trigger effects / how to control parameters?

But what you can do is assign contextual mappings to the dials on the dashboards and link the appropriate effect parameters to the dials. Hi Bart, Sorry for the dumb question, but what is the difference between direct and contextual mapping when applied to the dashboard? (cannot test with MIDI at t...

Re: New MacBook for R3?

perfect! - Thanks for the info. I've noticed already that apple kicked the s-video out  bad guys! - however a scan converter will do the job (or better: the new V8 - sometime) ;)
