Re: wave warp plugin issue

OK.. so windowsXP sp3, AMD athalonx2 5600+, nVidia 9800GT+.. and still same(very similar) memory leak. this machine is the epitome of opposite build from my intel/ATI/x64-7 build. My tests today were as follows: turn on XP machine; download res3.2 /install res3.2; reboot machine; open taskManager (f...

Re: Selecting active clip properties.

I second this request. I use avenue video-only for most performances. It would be nice to be able to activate the clip that is in current layer if the deck that the clip is in is out of scope (you have to go back to a previous deck if that is where the clip is located).

Re: OSC - Send Pictures

no. OpenSoundControl just sends messages. If you wanted all your thumbnails to show up, you could sequence them (give them unique ID's to iterate through) and match each thumbnail ID with a video clipID..... (in theory)... But the real answer to your question is: no OSC cannot send images(such as .j...

Re: wave warp plugin issue

windows 7 x64 Professional, ATI mobility 4670, is the system that has this issue. I just got home from a retreat at the coast, so I have access to other machines to test, I will test on my XP machine w/ nvidia gpu.

wave warp plugin issue

So have been really putting avenue through long tests recently. You have a really stable app. It can go all night. The only issue I have noticed so far is a possible memory leak in the wave warp plugin. When enabled memory usage for resolume steadily goes up until it hits around 2GB and resolume3 cr...

Re: What is your composition setting size / fps ?

Currently I am still using 640x480 (picVideo MJPEG codec) and with 4 layers and about 5 effects (mirror, trail, displace..) it rarely drops below 60fps (occasionally 59.xx or 57.xx). specs of machine are in signature (running win7x64Pro) I have used these samples across a dualhead2go (2048x768 resol...

Re: multi-touch gaming laptop

I think the insides of a macbook are ugly. Some people care about the hardware inside being setup properly with big*ss loud fans more than a shiney macbook case. I think the fan noise of my machines helps me concentrate, it also lets me use my ears to monitor temps and loads (these machines are an e...

Re: Grab Content of Window and use it as VideoSource

hmmm.... great idea, kinda tricky to do. You need a fast network... Use VHScrCap to grab arbitrary window (assuming you are working in Microsoft Windows) of window you want to use as source. This will allow you to input into resolume (on computer A). You then would use fugStream to stream across net...
