running multiple effects are quite hard to do... but there can be some standart effects for each layer outputs as u mentioned... f. ex: deinterlace is also another important standart effect if you have mixed clips...

I suppose the reason is, resolume creates the video on disk on the fly, so, uncompress output is preferable due to less cpu/ram usage. arkaos, uses different method, it records your behavior and renders the video file after but the difference is, you can use the recorded video in resolme after you p...

i suppose, paralel computing in video is not quite possible at the moment due to some hardware restrictions... also, architecture of pc computers also uses cpu process for handling network based operations... and as resolume and such a kind of systems are real time based systems, setting up an paral...
