OSC from QC to Resolume

I'm trying to get resolume to respond to OSC sent from Quartz Comps - i'm having no luck with it, though i've been able to get resolume to respond to issadora sending osc.

can anyone tell me which settings i need to make in QC to get resolume to hear the osc?

Re: OFFFGL

I just want to try some really basic things to start with. Simple texture manipulation such as rotation, cropping and mirroring along with simple colour manipulations is what I need to get my head round i think but i'm struggling to find examples of anything so basic!

OFFFGL

I've managed to get the openframeworks / ffgl example plugin to compile :) (very easy even though i'm totally clueless!)

are there any other examples / code snippets which i could look at to learn more about how to code FFGL plugins using openframeworks and xcode?

Quartz composer

Just got back to my mac :) Quartz stuff is really cool, and seems to all make sense. I have a couple of questions about the current functionality.. Is it possible to pass video textures to quartz compositions for video effects kind of processing? How are parameters passed / mapped - are they all 0-1...

Re: spectrum analyzer with FFT

pretty much what you said..

i've done it with the FFsource effect gradients and the hight parameter in the clip control, set them to be controlled via external audio and then use the FFT control to select the band your interested in (Bass, Mid, Top).

Simplez.

Re: BCR2000 parametric feedback

they mean midi output from resolume so that parameters controlled via hardware or external sequencers can update their position on the hardware when changed in resolume. The easiest example of this to understand is a controller such as the korg pad kontrol - it has 16 buttons which can light up. Let...

Re: Audio BPM sync possible?

manual tapping is better anyway otherwise your playback will be very jerky as resolume will be constantly changing the BPM and thus the amount of stretching.

Re: DXV and Converters

Mpeg stream clip supports DXV encooding so long as you use real quicktime not quitime alternative. http://www.squared5.com/
