I'd recommend to go out from Resolume via Art-net, and convert to 3/5 wire DMX with an external box, like the Enttec ODE mk2
It would be future proof, and a lot more flexible.
Enttec DMX devices can be hard to get working. That's why we're not supporting them any more from version 6. You'd need a specific combination of the drivers, OSX, and Resolume version to get them working. You can find some related info here: https://resolume.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=14204...
Alley puts the DXV codecs into C:/Program Files/Adobe/common/plug-ins/[someVersion]/MediaCore/Resolume DXV You can remove them from this path if you'd like. Did you get an error message trying to install Alley, saying it can't write the adobe plugins? If so, try exiting all adobe apps, and try reins...
To install the fonts, double click on the font file, and choose Install for All users of the machine.
After a Resolume restart, your fonts - if supported - should show up in the text source's list.
