Re: Dmx Issues V7

We're working on this. (#13191)
You'd need to wait for an update ;)

Re: Resolume 5 and Enttec DMX USB Pro MK2

I'd recommend to go out from Resolume via Art-net, and convert to 3/5 wire DMX with an external box, like the Enttec ODE mk2
It would be future proof, and a lot more flexible.

Re: Resolume 5 and Enttec DMX USB Pro MK2

Enttec DMX devices can be hard to get working. That's why we're not supporting them any more from version 6. You'd need a specific combination of the drivers, OSX, and Resolume version to get them working. You can find some related info here: https://resolume.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=14204...

Re: Uninstall Alley & DXV3

On mac the files are in
/Library/Application Support/Adobe/common/plug-ins/[versions]/MediaCore/Resolume DXV

Reinstalling Resolume should also fix the plugin, as they are reinstalled, together with Alley.
Make sure to exit Adobe apps when installing.

Yes.

There is no difference between a license bought with the educational discount vs regular price, except the price.

Re: Uninstall Alley & DXV3

Alley puts the DXV codecs into C:/Program Files/Adobe/common/plug-ins/[someVersion]/MediaCore/Resolume DXV You can remove them from this path if you'd like. Did you get an error message trying to install Alley, saying it can't write the adobe plugins? If so, try exiting all adobe apps, and try reins...

Re: Help With Adding Fonts

To install the fonts, double click on the font file, and choose Install for All users of the machine.
After a Resolume restart, your fonts - if supported - should show up in the text source's list.
