Will this mean that the image size limit will also be hardware based - the 4096 on images is also restrictive at times. If it can`t be expanded could it be pixel based - thgus say 1024 x 16, 384 - instead of 4096 x 4096 - cheers John McGeoch

I too miss the ability to use jpegs as image sequences - pre-rendering a sequence is not the same, as conditions constantly change and what about takes pics at the gig and adding in etc I. However I also applaud the new ability to work with large images and manipulate them, brilliant for compositing...
