Re: Native support new Apple M1 Max chips

An MSI laptop running the 4k benchmark in identical conditions is cranking out 20 layers clean at 60fps 20 layers noise at 50fps Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9750H CPU @ 2.60GHz though currently "boosting" to 3.4GHz 32GB RAM RTX 2070 Fans are going at almost full speed. Granted this is a "sli...

Re: Native support new Apple M1 Max chips

Yeah, I just got a MacBook Pro with the M1 Max chip, and my experience tracks with the other comments on this thread. The benchmark comp at 4k on an external 4k display was giving me all 20 layers clean at 89 fps and 20 layers noise at 86 fps. The striking thing is that there is virtually no fan noi...

Where are the REST API examples being served from?

Wow, the 7.8 release is like the best Christmas present ever. This opens up so many possibilities, starting from running Resolume without a control monitor, but including all kinds of crazy interactivity. I have a question - where are the actual examples being served from? The full-UI example is at ...

Has anyone used the Jokyo HAP encoder?

Has anyone used this?

https://jokyohapencoder.com/

I'm definitely encountering long rendering times for HAP, was wondering if this would be a good solution.

Re: Search - Laptop with 3 full-sized display outputs (2019-2021)

Unlikely to find such a thing, as Arvol says. I have an MSI GS65, which has HDMI, Mini Displayport, and USB-C I can connect one HDMI monitor directly, and another two via a USB-C to HDMI MST hub. So three full-size HDMI ports, at the cost of a relatively small and compact dongle. This one: https://w...

Chataigne (https://benjamin.kuperberg.fr/chataigne/en) is a free open-source package that can add excellent timeline functionality for Resolume. It also lets you easily build web-accessible show control dashboards. Resolume is supported directly as a module, and you can always use OSC directly if yo...
