Thanks for the specs.

Thank you for the Specs. This could be usefull . Bugs can be eliminated almost completely. "But" only if the system is canned and hardware is proprietary. Something like the Mac /Apple attributes in the past. We're all a bunch of Mac fanboys mostly. Windows is my preferred platform, but fo...

Re: Powerpoint and other problems

Although I shudder at the thought of PowerPoint presentations, we understand the need for supporting the format in many professional environments. As far as we know however, there is no way to access a .ppt file in anything else than MicroSoft PowerPoint itself. If you know of any software that can...

Re: intensity pro hdcp problem

your laptop's HDMI output is HDCP... really.. can't it be turned off? HDCP can be bypassed with HDFury. Got it and works great. Not cheap for some, but comes handy. With it you can deactivate the HDCP on a laptop HDMI output allowing to capture via BMD intensity. Heres something interesting. Once y...

Yes Do it please

The ASCII art was simple to do in FreeFrame (the non GL version) it's much harder now to get it working (quick enough) in OpenGL. Maybe we could revamp the ASCII art and bring it to a higher level. I think it's still a classic. Got my vote. :D Do it. I usually refrain from making requests, but I he...

Re: Ascii Art FFGL Plugin

Visual Jockey got this effect within it.I think it was called " Enigma". VJO has some awesome fx, but too bad development has been abondoned. Still available without any interactive support. Only if they turned all its effects into ffgl plugins, we would have so much fun . VJO Gold / Karma...

Re: Java / Processing integration?

I can't undestand, why not. Can't we pass the texture data and render it in R? Like a wrapper? I mean, we can render processing sketches in max/msp, matlab, even render frames in octane or povray. Actually, some of us are capturing the processing screen and plugin it to R like a source. That's a ki...

Re: Intensity Shuttle low framerate

Not yet. Wonder if its got something to do with OpenGL. Make sure that the card the UI is running on is the best card you have in your system. The UI contains the main OpenGL context which everything is rendered in, so choosing a lesser card is actually the worst thing you could do. Hmmmm. Sorry, bu...
