Re: DXV import button

Certain software (like procoder or carbon coder) allows you to create droplets. That's very handy cause you just drop the clip to the icon and press start conversion, or so.

Re: Java / Processing integration?

I can't undestand, why not. Can't we pass the texture data and render it in R? Like a wrapper? I mean, we can render processing sketches in max/msp, matlab, even render frames in octane or povray. Actually, some of us are capturing the processing screen and plugin it to R like a source. That's a kin...

Re: Resolume 4 Avenue & Arena Released!

OMG, my Bad !! Bart, I was astonished about the speed down yesterday, cause even load a lot faster than R3 when you launch it. Now found it why, and solved. R4 consumes a little bit more processor power to me, so increasing the processor voltage solved the problem . Now works like a charm! (R3 16% -...

Re: Resolume 4 Avenue & Arena Released!

10 minutes running. Same composition R3: 30fps - R4:11fps Is this a heavy guy? The workaround to 'post' render masks is strange in certain scenarios. If you use a TH2Go, or another multiple screens configuration you need to make all your mask at the comp size, and not at the layer size (on post). To...

Re: R4.0.0 - Layer Mask Drop area not accepting PNGs

I just downloaded the R4 demo right now, and have almost the same problem. The manual says: 'You can do this by dragging and dropping files from your operating system file browser but it is really much easier to do it using Resolume's built in browser.' R browser is too small for me (and in R3 take ...

Re: MBP & Resolume 3.3.1. : Problems with FPS and LATENCE

Oh man, Im dealing with the same kind of stuff. My dell laptop is at service and I just have a core 2 duo mbp to replace it in the meantime. Well, I use to manage 7 layers, 800x600 clips in a 2400x600 comp and a lot of synched values. With the macbookpro I just can manage 3 layers at 640x480. One cl...

Re: Introducing Resolume 4 Avenue & Arena

I don't know about prices, is all very far from my pocket right now. So I can't judge it. Im just starting to see the promo video, and the first thing that come to my mind is: 'oh, I love you guys'. But then, I see that you solved the pipeline render order thing about masking and think that need to ...

Re: Awesome projection mapping by SubSquare

Veeery nice.
Technically too much complicated for a simple mapping.
You can do the same just with a bunch of papers, after effects and a video player (or Resolume and a nanokontrol for fun).
