Re: Resolume eating all GPU memory, Spout, Directx9

Thanks!

Do you have a link to (#11934) so I can track its progress? Or is it a private bug tracker?

Is there anyway also for you to tell me which method is employed in the latest version of resolume in order to copy textures from gpu to cpu memory in the record feature?

Thanks!

Resolume eating all GPU memory, Spout, Directx9

Hello, I tried enabling "DirectX 9" in the "SpoutSettings" app. After restarting Resolume, I can see in Task Manager that it is slowly eating all GPU memory even though all my clips are empty. If I disable this option in "SpoutSettings" then memory usage is normal. Any ...

Re: Is there any way I can record at least 20 seconds of the video?

The Newtek NDI recorder doesn't work, it produces stuttering videos and doesn't seem to properly support the alpha layer. OBS will not record the alpha layer since it's a "full screen" recorder. I have an internal SSD and there's a lot of memory available when resolume stops. But resolume ...

Re: NDI Alpha layer

Thanks for your help.

Previewing the NDI source is a good helper!

It shows alpha, which means it's the recorder or I'm doing something wrong with it.

Thanks!

Merging pre-multiplied TIFF files

Hello, I have a set of pre-multiplied alpha TIFF files. I am looking for a way to encode the sequence in DXV with alpha at 60 rps. I tried : - adobe media encoder: it doesn't honor the "pre-multiplied alpha" metadata and "re-multiplies" the colors with the alpha channel - resolum...

NDI Alpha layer

Hello, Does anybody know if it's possible to export the alpha layer instead of a black background when exporting the video using NDI Network Streaming? My first tests using the command line NDI recorder (NDI 4 Tools\Studio Monitor\Application.NDIRecording.x64.exe) show that the produced file has a b...

NDI quality/compression parameters

Hello, I have been looking online and in Resolume settings and I can't find any information/parameters related to the quality of the NDI output stream. Would someone point me to a documentation where the quality settings are documented? Also, is there any way to change these settings? I would like t...

Most optimal way to stream between an opengl app and resolume

Hello, I have developed an opengl application. I am able to "stream" it to resolume in 4K 60 hertz with alpha layer, using Spout. Would anyone know if it is the most optimal way to do that? I do that so I can apply live effects on the rendering of the opengl app. Would using NDI (both app ...
