I've been working on quite the same thing. And i'm also in the process of forming an idea, how it could work. I think the usage of 3 comps controlled by the same midi signal will sooner or later lead to an unsynchron output. That's why my approach is different: Use 2 comps, connected via Resolumes V...

Under Win2000 and WinXP you can simply add as many pci cards as you want and expand your desktop over those.
Problems can only appear due to incompatiblities. Many old mainboards don't accept several graphic cards.

In the last time i saw a growing number of -let me call them- technical tools based on maxMSP/PD. Did you see some new ones of those? How did they do compared to Resolume? I think, those tools are still technical gadgets with a too time-intensive process of creation to be usefull for artists (follow...

Sound analysis crash

This bug happens to me since Resolume v2.2. It happened after some hours of playing live, thus not very often and never at home when i was testing ... Suddenly there is no more sound inside Resolume. The FFT Display remains empty. It's like someone pulled off my audio-input. But there is still audio...

I had those crashes right from first version of resolume2 and i could never find the reason. now i've at least an idea. what happens is the following: i load a complex scripted flash movie onto a layer. when i later on try to replace it with another flash movie, a simple one, i get a flashplayer cra...

i've found a way to do this with my behringer bcr2000. it's a bit abstruse, but it works. all midi signals are send to 1st comp by usb. there is midiOX running and sending all signals back to the bcr2000 (still by usb). in usb-modes 2 and 3 (using midi IO's as midi interface) those signals, which ar...

those flv's do support streaming. but still, what are the benefits of flv support? the flv-codec (sorenson spark) has a good compression (not needed for vjing) but consumes a lot of cpu-power for decompression (bad for vjing). you could use avi instead, which has a much wider range of codecs, thus b...
