Re: Correct OSC naming

/layer/3/clip/2/effect/5/parameter/2 it would be great to be able to address parameters discreetly rather than having to use the active clip as it is currently set up: /activeclip/video/effect5/param2/values Also, just to add to the conversation, I think that all things being equal, [/layer/3/clip/...

Re: Resolume crashes periodically

To follow up on Cosmowe's question, and after you've installed 4.1.11, make sure all you clips are DXV codec. I did a large show a few months ago (with 4.1.10) and my composition kept on crashing. All my clips were in DXV codec except for eight 2-second clips that were in ProRes 4444 with alpha chan...

Re: Questions about video routing/capabilities in Win8.1

The DXV codec works fine on Windows 8.1. As far as multiple outputs, your laptop will be able to output as many discreet outputs as what's available on the GPU. More and more, you'll find laptops with 2 DP + 1 HDMI outputs and desktops with 1 DP, 1 HDMI + 2 DVI so outputting to three or four screens...

Re: Can I reduce the definition of my home display in Win 8.

It sound like the home display on the laptop is 1440x810 HiDPi (what Apple calls Retina) which means pixels are doubled in every direction. This gives you four times the total resolution to give you a sharper image for the same screen dimension so I would leave it alone and enjoy the crispness of th...

Re: Resolume running in "slow motion"?

Glad you found the solution to your problem but another thing you want to look at when you compositions start going slow for no reason is the composition overall speed. Screen Shot 2014-08-03 at 8.12.09 AM.png You can reset the 100% by right clicking on the area. It happened to me on a show a while ...

Re: Animate_transform_position.

Not sure what you are trying to achieve. Do you want to animate or assign the parameter to the dashboard? You can't do both at the same time so you have to chose. To assign to the dashboard, you can just drag the parameter to the know you want to use or click on the arrow to the left of the paramete...

Re: MSI GS70 Stealth Pro-210 (6GB GTX870M)

Hey Zerone, I know you're not a Mac guy but the MacBook Pro is a pretty amazing Windows machine when you use bootcamp. The only small catch is that Windows doesn't really know how to handle the retina display quite yet but other than that it performs like a champ. Also, he GT 750M GPU works great un...

Re: New Mac, Mavericks, Quicktime Player can't open DXV file

Why don't you and your teammates use MPEG Streamclip to preview DXV files: http://www.squared5.com/? If your teammates have Resolume, they will have the DXV codec but if they don't, they can download the DXV codec at the following links: PC: http://resolume.com/download/download.php?file=Resolume_DX...

Re: record button unresponsive

Sometimes, computers do need rest as well ;)

Your comp seems pretty small so there shouldn't be any problems with the recording. Any idea if you have any other taxing processes when the recording was not working?
