User defined OSC ranges

I'd love to be able to define the OSC ranges for any clip/layer/composition OSC commands to get more precise outcomes when I use OSC commands. For instance if my comp is 1024x768, I could adjust all the range as follows: /layer3/video/positionx/values (Float 0.0 - 1.0) range (-1280 - 1280) instead o...

Re: Vezér, Making Resolume Bounce

Since I saw your post, I've been trying Vezér and it's really great!

The ability to use timelines, keyframes, and various interpolation algorithms opens up a whole new level of controlling Resolume Arena which is what I needed so thank you :D

Re: Audio from the live camera

You won't be able to get the audio from a BMD capture card directly into Resolume. To do that you'll probably have to extract the audio from the HDMI signal before you import it into the capture card and input it into your computer via L/R audio. Here is an example of an HDMI audio extracting device...

Re: 2013 Mac Pro Performance

My post was not meant to introduce confusion but rather give you a sense of what's what. The easiest way to know is to take your existing adapters, find the brand/model # and look it up online. If you can't find any info on your existing adapters, buy new ones. As far as buying new adapters, just re...

Re: Exclude effects on layer

To add to Joris' replies, I like to get the performers logo on top layer without it being interrupted by effects on other layers. thanks! Unless you put the effects at the composition level, you should have no problems having logos on the top layer. Now, if you are intent on putting the effects on t...

Re: Exclude effects on layer

Assuming your effects are in the layers/composition not the clips, one trick would be to use either application or composition key mapping and assign keys to the effects' (blind) mode . Note that you can assign the same key to multiple effects so that you could group them in layers. You could also d...

Re: Macbook integrated vs discrete gpu. No gain.

I don't blindly trust the GT 750M, I use it all the time for shows and it performs amazingly well. All I'm saying is these tests you're referring are rather irrelevant since they are testing the Iris Pro vs the GT 750M using the Retina display of the Macbook Pro not an external display. I'll be curi...

Re: Macbook integrated vs discrete gpu. No gain.

I looked at the article you referred to in your first post and unless I'm missing something, the Unigine Heaven test corroborates my opinion, right? Screen Shot 2014-07-20 at 10.29.34 AM.png Keep in mind that like most everyone in this forum, you'll want to connect more than 1 external display so th...

Re: Macbook integrated vs discrete gpu. No gain.

Don't even think about it, if you can afford it, get the Macbook Pro with the GT 750M card! As I mentioned in your other post (http://resolume.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=11093&p=45351#p45351) Resolume is all about being able to show your work on external displays and trust me you don't w...

Re: Performance Benchmarks

0x80, this is all great information but what's the point of testing a system without external displays? Testing your system without any external display would be like taking a Ferrari for a test drive while it's on 4 jacks. Unless you're going to run a show on your 15" monitor, you need to use ...
