Re: Weird FPS Problem - New 15inch Retina and OSX 10.10.5

Hey guys,

Both my displays were at 60hz

And I realised that if I log out and log back in it stabilises to 60fps again.
Still think its because of the refresh rates?

Weird FPS Problem - New 15inch Retina and OSX 10.10.5

Hey guys, So I just got the new 15inch retina MBP with the R9 graphics card and experienced a really weird problem. When I was testing things out with a single HDMI output and DXV 2 content I realised I was getting only 30-40 FPS, even with single layer. Then I remembered that "Use displays as ...

Hi Joris,

How do I check the buffer size?

And yea I tried splitting the audio and video as well. Same problem.

Frame rate drops on Windows but not on Mac

Hey guys, I had to run an hour long documentary of my arena server a couple of days ago. It was a large 40gb prores file. I converted it to DXV3. It was a simple two output setup on a LED screen. I ran it off my windows PC first. Config - Arena - 4.2 i7 5960x 32gb DDR4 RAM gtx 980 x99 pro samsung PR...

Re: 2015 MacBook Pro 15"

I was waiting for the resolume devs to comment on the new AMD card.

I remember reading somewhere in the forums that resolume plays better with Nvidia.

Any idea if it will work better than the retina MBP with the Nvida 750M?

Re: 4 servers - how to split midi or OSC signal

@Oaktown - Makes sense. I considered using datapaths, but as you probably already know, the cost of one data path is 3 times the cost of a triple head. I can try maybe getting servers with a little lower specs if I need to buy datapaths. I'll try reworking the numbers. @drazkers - I'm comfortable wi...

Re: 4 servers - how to split midi or OSC signal

I only have a distance of 5.4 feet to project from. So I'm using Panasonic PT DZ870 8500 lumens projectors with the ET DLE 030 ultra short throw lens. The 2 projectors directly above it will be using the ET DLE 085 lens. In case the projectors don't support 50hz. I can drop the res down to 4800 x 90...

Re: 4 servers - how to split midi or OSC signal

Hey Oaktown Ok so here are my answers - I was planning on using 4, but I could probably use 2 and 1 backup by connecting 2 tripleheads on each server to give me 12 outputs. I may need to add an additional projector in case 12 don't cover the entire area, but if that's the case I can always plug it i...
