Re: Resolume treats opaque picture as transparent

I created a new composition with the .png picture, and the head is opaque, like it should. Then I removed all effects and everything in the original composition, but the head is still transparent. ?!? Here are the links: picture: https://1drv.ms/u/s!AsNedAPvuG2thTQbwTfoZw0am2Gx?e=VPJSv9 original com...

I created some pictures in Moho which should be opaque, alpha is 255. head is opaque alpha is 255 in Moho.jpg When i look at the pictures with Gimp, I cannot see through them. head is opaque in GIMP.jpg But in Resolume the .png pictures are transparent, although I use the "add" or "al...

record video stills

I'd like to record video stills from the output of Resolume, like recording videos or audio.
Or is there a 3rd party software that can do that?

Re: bitrate gets lower with Alley converting

The name of the codec ID is both "jpg", so I thought it is the same. But apparently there is a difference?

When I convert to DXV, the bitrate (and file size) is almost twice as big, which is way too much in this case.

bitrate gets lower with Alley converting

I recorded some FFGL 1.5 sources in Arena 6, so that I can use them in Arena 7. The recordings are MPEG-4 Quicktime movies with JPEG format, I think this is default and cannot be changed. When I trim these movies with Alley and save with Motion JPG codec, of course the size of the file gets smaller ...

Re: Offset start point?

Is it possible now? I don't find it in the manual.
I think offsetting the start point would be sometimes very helpful. Very good idea 11 years ago... ;)

Re: Video with 48 kHz audio

...88.2 was my go to, but for anything live like concerts 44.1 or 48 is perfectly fine. 48 seems to be the standard these days (it has been for a long time for film). sorry for the rant lol I record with 24bit (and master to 16 bit of course), but I never bothered to raise the sample rate. I think ...

Re: Video with 48 kHz audio

To create the file, I did these steps: - recorded the output of Resolume via Spout with OBS on a Windows machine (mp4 x264) - opened this file on a Mac with the Quicktime Player 7 app (7.6.9) and 1. trimmed the length 2. deleted the audio track which was recorded from Resolume 3. added another audio...

Re: Video with 48 kHz audio

That was worth a try, I converted the video with alley to dxv, with the same audio sample rate 48 kHz. But same problem. Then I converted the sample rate to 44100 Hz, but this didn't help neither. Now I noticed that the audio ends at the very end of the video, when I play it in Resolume. But actuall...
