Re: Ultrawide Monitors

Wait, even better option: start from the Big Monitor layout (View/Layout/Big Monitor) and then drag the preview monitor to the left or right edge. You can resize it from there. You can have your clip grid, effects etc off to one side and a full size preview all on your ultra-wide monitor.

Re: Ultrawide Monitors

Or just choose "windowed" output in the Output menu, and drag the output wherever you want. If you hover over the lower right corner of the windowed output, you will see a resize cursor pop up. You will need to output to spout then use a spout viewer as a "windowed" app you can m...

Yeah, I've been using Samsung T5s like candy. Solid and super fast over USB-C.

I'm on 2.3.0 - it updates with Arena, right?

Footage download with Alley very slow

I'm having an issue downloading footage with Alley, it starts fast but then gets very slow. My completion estimate was at about 11 minutes when I started, but then it slowed dramatically.

My internet connection otherwise is testing at 100mbps.

Re: Footage download with Alley not working

I am seeing the issue where it started downloading quickly, then dropped to about 60KB/s.

I have 4 packs queued up, at this rate it will take a day to download. Other than that my Internet speed is fine, I'm getting 100mb/s on other sites.

FWIW I downloaded the Resolume trial on a Zenbook Duo and poked around with it, I think it shows a lot of potential.

This seems like a good basis for a custom controller setup: https://xkeys.com/xkeys.html You can make custom arrays with lots of buttons: https://xkeys.com/xkeys/keys.html xk-128_inuse_1200.jpg The ones that incorporate analog controllers could be useful: https://xkeys.com/xkeys/analogs.html xke-64j...

Re: Option to NOT conform video duration to audio

No, we were dropping the audio straight onto the video clip. I considered adding it to a separate layer and then doing the column trigger thing, but that would make our setup extremely unwieldy, since we have 16 clips that each need to trigger independently (ie each one needs its own layer). Another...

Re: NDI plus private network for TouchOSC - possible?

Get a USB3 to Ethernet adapter, so you are able to have two Ethernet connections.

By setting a static IP address on each Ethernet connection with a different subnet mask, you can bind the NDI traffic to one adapter, and your OSC traffic to the other.
