Chords

Here's an idea for a new feature: When a MIDI note is pressed, trigger the attached clip. If another MIDI note comes in without the Note Off message for the previous one, then add the assigned clip to the next available slot. ie. if two keys are pressed at once, stack up the clips, don't replace the...

Never mind, I implemented this in MIDIOX. Incoming MIDI notes from white keys are all remapped to channel #1, and used for clips. The notes from black keys are left alone, 10 keys on channels 1-16.

option to disregard MIDI channel #

I would find it very useful if Resolume had a feature to disregard MIDI channel # for specific assignments. Here's why: the MIDI keyboard I am using (Edirol PCR-M1) has a handy rotary knob for changing channel number. So I can assign a bunch of effects to black keys using channel #1, turn the knob, ...

I don't use a Centrino, but have a laptop with a 1.7Ghz Pentium M (same as Centrino, without the wireless chipset). I can run 3 layers at 320x240, with multiple effects. For the most part manage to get 30-40fps. Only very rarely do I get stalling/frame drops. I can run 1 layer at 640x480, with limit...

I've been using mine quite a bit - I revised the layout.

Now it looks like this.

I picked up an X-Keys to use for the 5x4 clip grid, it's on the right here.

Ah - I also need a Frame Echo effect that is compatible with Freechain. The one I have, is not.

Need a Freeframe Threshold effect!

Hi all! I am looking for an effect that does what the Threshold effect does (ie mask out all values except those exceeding a given luma threshould) but in the form of a Freeframe plugin. The reason is that I want to apply a threshold + delay effect to only one layer, so I was going to combine them w...
