Re: MIDI incremental / nanokontrol2

Layer-based MIDI mapping in Resolume allows you have relative controls based on the selected layer.

There is also a semi-hidden feature in the latest version of Resolume that can probably accomplish what you want for clip cycling:

Re: Recording cuts off at 12 seconds.

If you're making a normal recording (as opposed to live sampling during a show), a good alternative is Syphon Recorder.

Re: Animation for clip speed value

Interesting. You could accomplish some of this using a 3rd party timeline animation tool like Vezer. The downsides I can think of would be: -performance issues, especially when global speed is simultaneously being adjusted or greater than 1x -unreliable transitions/crashes when auto-pilot is active ...

Re: interface brightness

Been there too. Serato is a good example of bright/dark settings for the interface. In the past I've used a mouse locator so at least the cursor is easier to find. You could also try using the new 'Scroll to Clip' feature to bounce around within Decks. Another way is click-and-hold in the scrollbar ...

Easier iPad screen capture in OS X Yosemite?

Some hope for people integrating iPads. iOS 8 and OS X Yosemite will have a feature for capturing video straight to QuickTime. This was revealed in the new App Preview guidelines, as a way for developers to easily make video previews of their apps for the iOS 8 App Store. An iOS 8 device plugged in ...

Re: Hardware Resource Meters

I haven't seen the Arkaos meters... Supposing an algorithm could be created to work with the infinite configurations out there, what variables would you include? How could this provide a more useful report to the user than a combination of built-in system resource monitors and Resolume's FPS readout?

Re: looping backwards

I've also had a few cases where this behavior with endless knobs on MIDI controllers was limiting creative options.

Remember deck scroll position not working on 4.1.9?

Actually 'Remember scroll position per deck' isn't working for me. I disabled the scroll to clip on shortcut to make sure that wasn't affecting it. Arena Mac. If I understand the feature correctly I should be able to scroll to Column 16 in Deck A, switch to Deck B which is scrolled to Column 1, then...

Re: Resolume 4.1.9 Update: Sweating the Small Things

Beyond the Mavericks stuff, my favorite changes:

NEW: The playhead and In and Out points show their values in MM:SS:FF
NEW: Remember deck scroll position per deck
FIXED: Composition master opacity is multiplied with slice alpha

Thanks for your work.
