Re: How to play 12 out put Full HD

Nope, they used a slightly custom amd firepro model, the d300 /d500 /d700 depending on the spec of the Mac Pro. Performance is approximately in line with a r9 270, so performance will be very poor and even worse over 8k.

Re: How to play 12 out put Full HD

If you want to play '8k' footage, that's 16 1080p images, not 12. The current Mac Pro supports a total resolution of three 5k displays which is 44.2 million pixels, which is more than the area of four 4k displays. So it passes the issue of having such a physically large output. Your method of using ...

Re: Bypassing Layers

Technically it is possible to execute a matrix of layers to outputs, by going through an exact layer to slice mapping where you only have slices for the layers you want in that output and take no slices from the composition. But you will lose any master controls, and the layers will no longer mix pr...

Re: Help!! Still Wrong Output Resolution in Windows 10

This is completely workable at the moment, but obviously not ideal to have to run your main screen at a scaled resolution. Looks like there must still be some development work to be done on negotiating the windows scaling on all systems. Hopefully some future versions will fix this. That's purely d...

Re: Help!! Still Wrong Output Resolution in Windows 10

The first obvious thing i'd suggest is making sure the monitor output (within display settings) is set to the correct resolution (1024x768) and that the monitor supports it as an input. The main display should be running at the actual resolution (2560x1600) and scaling should be left at 100% as this...

Re: Creative solution to Mouse Vibration from base?

Oh nice that is also a really creative solution! I think I know of the scroll to active clip feature I think you are talking about. Unless I there is another feature or trick I'm missing. I always deactivate that feature since I have animated masks and casers in my decks that I don't want the comp ...

Re: Creative solution to Mouse Vibration from base?

If you add an extra layer, and then map a knob to the clip select for that layer it will scroll to keep the selected clip (even when empty) in view. can't remember if this also changes the vertical scroll, but if it does then if you're willing to sacrifice preview/clip effect/browser space you can k...

Re: [Help]Huge led strip pixel mapping?

What is most likely, is that the LED strips are split into smaller lengths with individual power supplies and drivers. These will be individually addressed at the smaller intervals, meaning there isn't actually anything split over two universes. As for patching and mapping these, it depends if the c...

Re: Pixel Mapping for Elation Cuepix Batten

Theres 7 on each side of the stage, so I plan to do 2 lumiverses. Any suggestions on placement of the fixtures? You should do that from a single universe (as 14x30=420 < 512), unless you've already got a multi output artnet node. Since an LED batten has a much greater pixel-pitch than a video wall,...

Re: Pixel Mapping for Elation Cuepix Batten

You need to change the mode of the fixture so it's operating in 30 channel mode, otherwise you won't get 10 fixtures in one universe. Don't bother with 33 or 36 channel modes, as you won't want to use the macro channels they give, and resolume doesn't have the option to add non-colour channels to a ...
