Re: Creating one image output out of two split layers

Hi Jo,

welcome in the Resolume forum. And yes, you can achieve this easily.

I set up 2 layers playing the same clip. At one layer I applied the 'LoRez' video effect, at the other the 'Crop' video effect. That's how the result looks like.

restore (scroll) position of clip property panel

When switching between clips in preview, the clip property panel remembers (per clip) which sections are fold and unfold (e.g. Transport, Dashboard, etc.), but not the scroll position of audio and video effects. This little feature would be a huge time saver for me!

Re: no audio in the audiovisual clip...

Maybe the audiocodec is not installed on the system?

Did you try to use two separate files (one for audio, one for video)?

Re: Audio glitches

Kmifflin, thanks for your hints. I just tried with the on board soundcard and 1024 buffer size. Even after a restart of Arena, the issue persists. I'll try with the external soundcard next week.

kmifflin wrote:What sound card are you using? Is it the on board or a professional card?
I tried with the onboard of the MacBook Pro and also with an external pro card.
kmifflin wrote:Why isn't increasing the buffer an option?
It is an option, but does not change anything. So I'm looking for other options.

move effects - names of dashboard dials lost

just a small one...

If I move a video effect (which parameters are linked to the dashboard) from one clip to another, the dashboard links are moved too (which is great!), but it does not move the name of the dashboard dials. Well, that's not a big issue, and maybe easy to solve? Maybe not? Who knows?

seperate timeline (in/out) for audio and video in av clips

Hello, yet another request :) it would be brilliant if it were possible to set in and out points individually for audio and video. So it's possible to adjust the video loop independently of the audio loop. Maybe a second timeline for both audio and video would allow for much more flexibility (e.g. s...

scrolling when mouse is at layer controls and clip thumbnail

Hello,

I'd like to ask if you could extend the region for scrolling the composition to the layer's clip thumb and the controls (marked red in the picture). So I can scroll the clips and columns while my mouse cursor is in one of the red regions.

Audio glitches

There are sometimes glitches/ticks/cracks in the audio when I trigger or stop an audio clip. Even if the clip is audio only!

Is there anything besides the buffer size I could try?

The audio files are uncompressed PCM 44.1kHz 16bit aiffs.

Re: How to save a composition Key Map?

I would rather suggest to make it an application key mapping. So works for all you compositions.

Anyhow if you save your composition (CTRL+S) the mapping should be saved in the composition too. (At least that's what I would expect)
