Re: New Mac Pro with AMD D700 - Glitches

You shouldn't use a dual-link adapter for anything under 1920x1200 so I'd be careful. Assuming your dual-link adapters are all apple adapters, they've been know to have flickering issues especially with older firmwares (1.01 & 1.02) so make sure you have the latest version of the firmware (1.03)...

Re: New Mac Pro with AMD D700 - Glitches

Also, here is an interesting article on the new Mac Pro and GPUs: http://www.anandtech.com/show/7603/mac-pro-review-late-2013/9 Have you tested your system with just three outputs using a Matrox TH2G or DH2G: - System monitor - Dual-link DVI (with active adapter): 1 @ 2560x1080 double-link DVI outpu...

Re: New Mac Pro with AMD D700 - Glitches

Four outputs should be no problems with that system!

Are you using active adapters to convert from Displayport to single-link and double-link DVI? If not, there is a good chance that's what's causing your stuttering. Take a look at my posts in viewtopic.php?f=7&t=11273.

Re: Forum order

Thanks Sleepytom, I don't know how I missed that one!

The other part of the equation would be to have the original post at the top to put things in perspective. Any thoughts for this one?

Re: Lemur Setup

No I meant you might need to switch your outgoing/incoming ports but first I'd try the following OSC string:

/layer1/video/opacity/values

Re: Lemur Setup

Also it sounds like if the Lemur iPad has OSC Target:Host IP of my local computer Port : 8001, you might need to switch your incoming port to 8001 on Resolume.

Re: Lemur Setup

The OSC command should be [/layer1/video/opacity/values] or [/activelayer/video/opacity/values] with a float value from 0.0 - 1.0

Re: Adding a 2nd graphics card

Great, thank you DirtyJohn_lv!

Have you ever had a chance to test with 3 GTX 780 GPUS on a P9X79 E-WS motherboard?

Re: Adding a 2nd graphics card

Dirtyjohn_LV, what size composition and how many layers are you running when you get 60FPS on your machine with the two GTX780 GPUs?

Re: Recording last just a few seconds.

Lots of posts on the topic but the jest of it is that Resolume is a 32-bit software so chances are you're running out of memory. What's your system and how big is your composition (pixel size and layers)? Try a simple composition (640x480) with a couple layers to see if you can record longer segments.
