Re: What microphone for audio reactive visuals?

TBH, your input audio filter & FX envelope settings will be where the magic is at. As for FX, I like displace, Exposure, Fish Eye, Distortion, and Shift RGB. I little can go a long way ;) Ill have to play around with it some more this week. Reveal was pretty cool especially with tracks that had...

Re: What microphone for audio reactive visuals?

So I tired audio input this past weekend using xlr to 1/8 out of our board. It was okay, some effects were cool others not so much.

Any effects that you know work really well with audio and suggest I try?

Re: Matrox card for dual wide desktop?

As it's not possible to arrange a second window for resolume i'm thinking about a matrox dual head for my resolume desktop to maximize the window over two screens. Is it possible with matrox to use 2 touchscreens? Will they map correctly? Which touchscreens are you using? Im running a 28" 4k m...

Re: UPGRADE TIME: 7700k VS 8700k Input

save up for some time and go with the 8700k or a new ryzen or threadripper, depending on which kind of software you use the most. The difference between a 7600 and a 7700 is minimum, mostly the hyperthreading which gives very marginal performance boost, not worth 300$ BUT, if you have a constantly ...

UPGRADE TIME: 7700k VS 8700k Input

So its time to get a little more kick out of this rig. I currently have a i5 7600k on a z270 gaming 5 board and it works good but cpu usage sits around 85-100% most of the time. Temps stay decent because of all the cooling I have in the case but I just dont like the usage range. My 2 options A- keep...

Re: HELP What to use?

No, you can cascade your VX4s to create a larger screen, so you could break down 2 units into 1,664x768 and 3328x768/30 would fit into single link DVI so you should be good! Screenshot 2018-06-27 17.30.21.png Screenshot 2018-06-27 17.30.31.png2 So if I went with the cascade route I would run 1 outp...

Re: HELP What to use?

So I had another thought, would you prefer to run two 1080 screens to cover the 3328 width or would you send 1 1080 line, link the 2 processors and then stretch the image to fit the 3328 width? It depends on your LED processor but you should be able to run the exact resolution you need. The vx4s we...

Thank you! I ended up going that route and it worked well.
