was thinking of getting a copy of avenue as backup
the question is, will avenue open/import an arena composition, or do I have to rebuild the whole thing?

well, I bought the bells and whistles intensity studio and guess what? it is a nightmare to get it into a mac. in the end I had to use out of date drivers to get it into VDMX, which is supposed to be 100% "BM bombproof". it did however work fine in resolume.. the moral of the story is, don...

I'd suggest blurring your footage before you put it in resolume, because yes, blur does slow things down.

vdmx can capture windows from other apps.
you can then send this to resolume

just so you guys know,
auto image works best with a test card
Christie recommend the edges of the screen are white and it contains pure RGB CMYk areas to ensure the best calibration..
needless to say, it doesn't work with digital signals
