Re: Zoltan´s Controller not connect

Make sure OSC input and output are turned on in Arena and that you've got matching ports in Controller (Arena's default ports are Incoming:7000 & Outgoing: 7001)

Re: Remotely controlling Arena

If you are trying to control your server with a laptop, your best bet (and probabbly easiest setup) is probably going to be a VNC session (Virtual Network Computing). Give RealVNC Connect a test drive as it's easy to setup and you can easily isolate which screen you can see remotely as I'm sure you'...

Re: relative fades using Qlab controlling Resolume

Joris, it seems that when you use an operator the following value is treated as a float not an integer. It works fine if you use the corresponding normalized value (such as -0.009765625 for -320) for a zero count cue but it doesn't seem to work with a fade because it keeps subtracting the normalized...

Re: relative fades using Qlab controlling Resolume

Or you could simplify the process and use Qlab 4 with a Network Cue set to 1D fade ;) For instance if you want to move clip 1 in layer 3 you would use the following syntax: /composition/layers/3/clips/1/video/effects/transform/positionx #v# use the following normalized value to move 320 pixels to th...

Re: R6 - New Year's Countdown

Here is a simplified version of the TD script I shared last year. 2019 NYE Countdown.zip https://vimeo.com/308114936 As a reminder, to get the right time on the clock, you'll need to set the exact latitude/longitude for your location (the attached file is set for Oakland CA). You can change the movi...

Re: Remotely controlling Arena

Any VNC program will do that for you so that will be no problems.

I've personally programmed, mapped, and maintained Arena 6 projects from thousand miles away many times. Actually, I was just in New York working on a show in San Francisco that I programmed in Arena 6 using Chrome Remote Desktop!!
