No, it’s not set at 0 – because the gain in the preferences isn’t accessible (in that it’s tucked away and not mapable) it’s not practice to modify this during a show. It would still be nice if the individual gain could somehow override this at the very bottom, and ‘turn off’.
I often use the gain to turn an effect off or on (because it can then be assigned to one knob on the controller) but it seems that it doesn’t go right down to zero which can be annoying at times...
