Re: Using the MacBook Pro Firewire port to video capture. How?

I just found this: Epiphan VGA2USB.
I guess Avenue should work with that device smoothly. Anyone?

Using the MacBook Pro Firewire port to video capture. How?

Hi. I have some PC based applications, all flash, that are not exactly Avenue compatible. So I usually grab the HP Notebook composite video signal running those into Avenue (on Mac) using EasyCap DC60+ USB device. It works fine and it is a solution. Anyway, I am not satisfyed with the image quality ...

Re: resolume mask size problem

Ok. You set Avenue output resolution to 800x600, but what about your composite settings? 640x480? : )
Or... have you checked if your (composite properties tab) / scale value is lower than 100%.

Re: 3D plug-in?

... And id like to learn more about this multi view projections you get 3d without glasses. Im eventually wanting to incorporate 3d footage with My 3d mapping... As I said, there´s no way to project autostereoscopic (no glasses) content nowadays. There´s no such technology available yet. 3D project...

Re: 3D plug-in?

I have a wide experience in autostereoscopic (3D glasses free) content. If anyone wants any information about it, feel free to contact me. In advance, I can tell you that the actual autostereoscopic technology will not adapt to Avenue anyway. Autostereoscopic content uses from 5 to 9 different views...

Re: Multiscreen setup?

Yes, you can achieve that with Resolume 3 and there are a couple of options available. Some guys have two or three video cards. You can setup each video card output to a different projector, while in Avenue you can setup displays to work along specific layers, so different content for each projector...

Re: Loading Composition Decks Problem

Hi. I´d like to add my two cents here. I am also suffering a lot, not specifically while loading compositions but while exchanging/selecting a deck tab. It is taking from 5 to 15 seconds to exchange active decks. I know you guys are working hard to make this better as I know Avenue is a whole new co...

Re: Detaching Active Layers from Content Layers as an Option

I had once three projections where one of them was just a simple logo. So, I just try to ignore the layer.
But sometimes I messed up loading other content not meant for that layer. So yes, in that case locking a layer maight be handy.

Re: Masking vs. Projection Luminosity

I agree here - the black of any projector is one of the telling qualities in it`s specs and one of the key differences between cheap projectors and their more expensive fellows. Generally what are called home cinema projectors go for better blacks ( seen in the contrast ratio figures ) but are not ...
