Re: Input Device Benchmarks

How you measured delay from SDI input? We can consider that video-output from videocard has 0 delay, but i do not think this is correct for native SDI output on capture card or with help of some sort of converter/scaler.

Re: Input Device Benchmarks

Ok, your delay is measured at 60 fps. So when we convert to milliseconds, results are comparable, that is great.

Re: Input Device Benchmarks

Is input from AJA smooth? My AJA behaves like there is non constant fps with frames dropped. Blackmagic is smooth. Also, your resultsare higher than mine, so this delay depends on system and cannot be compared directly. On MacBook i have this numbers Aja U-TAP gives me 4 to 5 frames delay (0.16-0.2 ...

Re: Resolume Avenue & Arena 6 Beta Available Now!

6 is extremely good with h264 playback. I do not know exactly because limited with ssd speed (time to switch to nvme), but it seems that it is 10 times more performant on my 12-core xeon than Arena 5. New engine rocks!

Re: Hardware Advice

No need for TB3 in a rack PC. Native PCIe is better than PCIe packed into TB3 and this small flimsy connector. After i added descent PCIe cards, i forgot about TB buit into Motherboard. I got less delay and more stability. TB is a must only for laptop. Sorry, but i edit second part of my post, Resol...

Re: Link un to 2 screen on new macbook late 2016

But i tested and it works reliable: 2 outputs+2 thunderbolt blackmagic inputs + usb hub from anker and tonns of usb devices-hard drives, midi, sound card, flash-sticks. Only problem - 55W limitation. So i was playing around dropping sometimes one thunderbolt input for dedicated charging and going ba...
