can you be a little bit more specific on when exactly you get crashes and what kind of crashes? are they the 'resolume-does-not-respond-i have-to-reset' kind, the 'resolume-just disapeard-without-notice' ones or the 'repetitive-error-message' ones?
resolume ignores any frame action scripting ... if we would just let flash do all the playing then we would not have speed and scratch controls over the movie ... this is in order to give consistent functionality on movies, flash and pictures.
most highend laptops have dual monior support these days ... look for a laptop with either a mobile radeon 7500 chip or at least a Geforce2Go there are multiple manufacturers that have laptops with these chips ... Sony Vaio and Dell Inspiron are the most popular ... goodluck!
as soon as Jerome has his new computers with the Hercules cards we will visit him and do a little testing so we can give you advise based on our personal experience ...
no need to appologise for asking questions ;-) if you have a splitter you can not run dual monitor ... you have to switch back and forth to fullscreen mode ... to set the outup window fullscreen spress 'dual monitor' button and then press the small button in the far bottom left corner ... good luck!
