EDIT//
Only Avenue crashes when starting - Arena starts fine
Try moving your '/Documents/Resolume Avenue 6' folder out of that directory, then let Avenue 6 Beta 2 rebuild it. That cleaned up some issues for me.

R6: Order of Preview/Output Monitor

Within the Output Monitor panel in Arena 6 Beta, choosing 'Side by Side' for the layout places the Output Monitor on the left side and Preview Monitor on the right. Can we have an option to flip those around? I'm trying to do a classic NLE style layout like FCP or Premiere, where the very top right ...

Anyone interested in this should check out vade's Synopsis project. Currently Mac only but very impressive.

Re: NDI support

So some say almost zero latency, others say 1 second. that is a pretty extreme range... whats the consensus? :-) Just like normal signal flow, a lot depends on your infrastructure. A 10Gb wired network reserved for media traffic is obviously going to perform better than a consumer wifi router that'...

Re: VJing out doors

This is SUPER ghetto but works in a pinch: 1. Get some sort of tray, preferably plastic, or in this example I went to artist hospitality and got the bottom of a soda can tray which was cardboard and had edges. 2. Lay a trash bag in it so it holds water. When you think you’ve reinforced everything we...

Re: DMX Output > switching Overheadprojectors on/off?

cutting the power to a projector is not a good idea, but it can be done. You risk melting the parts inside the projector, and also it will shorten the lamp life. if you really want to do this you can create a fixture with a luminance channel, and feed it black input for 0 and 100% white for 255 out...

Re: Save to Dropbox for downloading content

If I understand you correctly, you guys want the option to link your Dropbox account to your Resolume account, so you can download the footage to your DB account? Exactly. Where I've needed something like this is on tour where you're constantly jumping on different networks for short periods of tim...

Re: Mapping to Strobe invert toggle

Yep tried all that knowing I didn't map anything to comp or layer focus and cleared everything before I started this. I've cleared all the dials and unlinked effects. All the dials were greyed out again. Then relinked the problem strobe to any dial and it was still doing it. When you're in the vari...

Ran into a situation this weekend where this would have been great.
