HOw does avenue work on The new mac book pros that just came out

I have My DV camera plugged in and it works great.
I also Have a usb to svideo connected to a cheap radio shack channel switcher. It works but it is buggy,
do they make anything i can use as a substitute? Thanks.

The firewire camera feed is really pixelated. Is that just a matter of settings?

Do you think there is a good way to delay the audio for the same amount of time?
I know that sounds dumb.
But i really need to have syncronicity.

I am taking a feed from a laptop via svideo and connecting it to my laptop via a usb capture card. Im outputting this to a projector and there is a little bit of a delay. Is that from the svideo connection? Do i need a better video card? My video card is standard however i dont want to buy a new lap...
