It works just fine. As long as you buy the MBP with the Nvidia GeForce 8600M GT.

Though I've discovered one minor issue recently; the videodriver doesn't support overscan. Not a big problem, but still. I'm open for suggestions to solve this.

My really really (Aldi) cheap AverMedia card I bought 5 years ago works under resolume. Pitty there are no drivers available anymore for XP SP2 and higher. So I'm afraid it goed down the bin.

Unless someone can provide me some working drivers :cool:;)

Hmmm has anyone tried to pull the hd out of a hd-recorder and read it out on a pc? You could burn the hq recording to dvd 'as is' if you like.
