Advanced output glitching.

Post by ZeroStep »

Hello Forum Community!
My issue looks like this (I started doing visuals again recently, and found my config doing this):
http://i.imgur.com/h34g6.jpg

When I start to use advanced output in Resolume Arena, it glitches badly (see pic. the moved parts leave their paths).
The problem occurs only in advanced output mode(especially while screen warping), otherwise it's working fine(even if I warp clips with the keystone effect).
The problem occurs in multiple versions of resolume(so it's probably stg about my mac).

I tried to remove resolume, and reinstall it (delete all files from the application folder, config files too).
Tried on multiple accounts, issue still exists.
Ran hardware test(everything is fine), reseted the PRAM, reinstalled OS X, did software update the glitch is still happening.

My config:
2012 macbook pro 13"
OS X ver. 10.7.5.
4 GB ram
Intel HD Graphics 3000 384 MB
I run Arena on a separate user profile.

Any Ideas?

This happened to my Intel HD3000 512ram in one of my macbookPro's.
I did find a fix tho! :ugeek:
This happened after the update from 10.7.4 to 10.7.5 or Mountain Lion
I downgraded back to 10.7.4 an the issue went away.
I was on 4.1.1 at the time. Since then, I have updated machines and have not tried 4.1.2 on that machine.

The advanced output will *not* work correctly with Intel GPUs. This is why we recommend against these GPUs in all our communications.

Thank You for the advice, altho it worked properly earlier (unfortunately I don't know about the exact ver. numbers). I'll report as I managed to downgrade.

Update: I managed to run advanced output on another intel HD 3000 laptop, it was a PC with windows 7.

i have the same problem. in advanced output i have glitching.
use a matrox triplehead2go digital edition. the problem is without the matrox and with the matrox.
i think its a bug of an intel iprocessors (i3,i5,i7)

i use 4.1.1 on intel macbook pro i5 with 10.7.5 osx
(have the glitching)
on older macbook pro with intel core 2 duo 2,4ghz with 4.1.1. and 10.7.5 osx
is all ok and works fine.

what can i do to run perfectly on macbook pro with i5?

thanks

I'm having the same problem, I upgraded to the mountain lion and the error started.
The same problem happened with visution Mapio, but they sent me a file to replace, the problem was solved.
