AVer video capture

Post by hajdelak@seznam.cz »

Hi I just switched from PC to Mac.
I was using AVer on PC to get cinch live video signal and it worked quite well.
Now I've got new Aver Capture M - I can see the live video in AVer interface, but I don't see it in Resolume in SOURCES :( I hope it is just some minor thing in settings. OR?
thanks for any reply

seems it won't work :D
on osx there are few no none video grabbers which work in resolume...
i got a elgato eyetv hybrid...
video input works superstable on pc but won't show up in mac in the sources list :(

blackmagic devices should work if you can connect it to your system ;)

I dont know if this is exactly what you mean, but im using an EasyCap to get image from a Bleeplabs HSS3jb to the laptop, EasyCap Viewer software to show the image on the laptop, then CamTwist software to get it into Resolume.

Bit of a pain, but low cost AND effective.
if you have money there are probably better answers...

Also instead of using Camtwist, you can use VideGlide capture driver http://www.echofx.com/videoglide.html . It was broken with an earlier release of R4, but it seems to be working for the last few versions. I've been an Easycap user since the R3 was in version 1.

that little guy is rock solid, and I love it.

Also make sure to get the RIGHT easy cap. there are certain versions for Mac, and some for PC only, plus there are fakes out there to... That site i linked to is reliable to purchase from. I've bought 4 over the last few years, good customer service to.
