Compression for Vimeo

Post by Clockwork Tickler »

Hello, I am having problems with compression. I want my videos to look clean and playback smooth when uploaded to vimeo, like Beeple's but mine are ending up like and I am making my clips in Cinema 4D and rendering as a QuickTime then doing my post in After Effects then exporting as a QuickTime with animation at 100% then doing a compression in Quick Time Pro with H.264. This seems to be the best working compression method for me so far. The videos look alright when played on my computer(the colors are a little flushed) but when uploaded to vimeo I get the posted result. I have tried H.264 in After Effects and some other options like Quick Time then H.264 in After Effects. Any information is appreciated. Thank you for your time!

Yeah Vimeo can strict with compression.

This is always a good guide.
